FinFetcher
FinFetcher is a tool for algotraders to get the entire data pipeline setup. It solves the error-prone setup of building a local cache which almost always is needed to run algorithms efficiently.
FinFetcher is built in Go and Rust and is a generalized solution to this need. It provides an optional GUI where traders can configure their data pipeline in just a couple of seconds.

Rockstar Rocket
Rockstar Rocket is a service to practice your musical ear. It introduces the practice approach of getting bite-sized generated melodies where the user tries to replicate these by ear. The user can then reveal the answer which is shown in a piano-roll, but also on a guitar and piano.
Significant technical achievements with this were the melody generation algorithm that can generate a melody in any key, scale and tempo. All graphics are also custom made with HTML canvas.

DefinedMotion
DefinedMotion is a programmatic animation library, similar to 3Blue1Brown's Manim or MotionCanvas. It was built to give instant update on save (hot reload) and a strong rendering backend. This makes the feedback loop for programmatic animations much shorter and it handles complex scenes performantly.

Follou Haptics is a company developing medical training equipment, such as force feedback hardware. Hoverest has worked with Follou on multiple things, like building their website and other software such as drivers, simulation tools, ports to MacOS and a logging system.

Rightly Wraps
Rightly Wraps is a packaging design service targeting Chinese suppliers on markets like Alibaba. The packaging is often not very important for the customer, but from the perspective of a Chinese supplier/manufacturer it's about getting chosen in the competition by getting as many details right as possible. Western resellers often look at details like packaging design to see if the product/job is well executed to increase the probability of choosing good products.

Sighted
Sighted is a project in progress to allow for capable plotting and printing from any programming language. It's a generalized solution providing GPU-accelerated plots for debugging or presentations. The project has resulted in new concepts for doing print-debugging and has created a binary data protocol to send large amounts of plot data in a language-agnostic manner.
